Day 1
|
Arrive at Wawaitin Holiday Park 1 PM - Meet your guide, welcome refreshments, orientation and registration, ATV safety, depart to high falls. Setup camp and learn of the old lumberjack ways!

Day 2
|
Speckle trout perhaps ? Explore the Quartz and Bruce Lake areas. Ride the esquer atop history filled Grassy River and go wild on the sand dunes. Move camp to Chesterfield lake and get into nature!

Day 3
|
Learn of modern methods of timber harvesting and silveculture. Ride to Post 392 for a fabulous brunch! Return to Park 2 PM or continue the ride... head for Kenogamissi Falls by way of the old Hudson Bay fur traders route.

Day 4
|
Local native Heritage is the day's theme as we head toward the old railroad town of Gogama and an overnight stay at a Wilderness Camp. We are now where all rivers start flowing North.

Day 5
|
Set up camp on the shores of Tatachikapika River. Walleye / Pickerel and Northern Pike are abundant... as are opportunities to view and photograph other wildlife. Perhaps some blue berry picking for tonight's dessert - 'bannock' anyone ?

Day 6
|
Wawaitin Falls is where we will see the results of modern day mineral exploration and visit a trappers cabin before returning to Park around noon. A 'Thanx for Coming' lunch will be served before departing @ 1 PM . We know you'll be back!

Bring personal camping gear (clothing, sleeping bag, tooth brush,) riding gear (appropriate foot, eye and hand protection,) licenses, special needs etc.... Camera and not much more than you can put in a backpack and hike with.
