Visitors to Canada wishing to bring a firearm or borrow one while in Ontario to conduct recreational activities (skeet or target shooting) must obtain government clearances in the form of a 'temporary permit'. Visit the Canadian Firearms Center to obtain the appropriate applications and additional current requirements (forms JUS909E + JUS910E). Those wishing to hunt must in addition to the above, purchase species licenses and present proof of prior hunting experience (current or expired license from your local jurisdiction).
