Rates and typical itinerary shown are for a four day or eight day adventure into Canada's Arctic coastline. Custom tailored adventures are WildExodus' specialty; please contact us for a quote.

Typical Itinerary:
All itineraries are customized and developed based on group size, ages, interests, budget, timing, etc. Your approval is obtained when your reservation is confirmed.
Day 1:
Arrive at Wawaitin Holiday Park 1:00PM. Meet your guide, welcome refreshments, orientation and registration, wilderness safety, and evening meal. Light a fire and learn of the old lumberjack ways!
Day 2:
Local native Heritage is the day's theme as you head toward the old railroad town of Cochrane Where at 9 AM you will ride the Little Bear or Polar Bear Express to Moosonee. Board the MV Polar Princess from the moose river wharf for a tour of James Bay and bus tour of Moose Factory Island with overnight stay at its Cree Village EcoLodge.
Day 3:
Board an authentic 24' (7.5meters) fur trader's freight canoe for a visit to Fossil Island to view the fantastic marine fauna. An afternoon walk through the world's largest wetlands (The Great Muskeg) and a Twilight Tour after diner drive .
Day 4:
Return to base camp in Timmins or continue your journey deeper into the arctic by boarding a float plane to Peawanuck. After this pioneering journey you will be met by a the Mack family, native Cree guides with vast knowledge of this region and its customs.
Day 5:
Wild Wind interpretative tour - be prepared to be surprised! Join in as local dishes such as Atik minwan (caribou steak dinner), Abon (roasted goose), Papatay (meat & dumpling stew) are prepared. Lets have tonight's meal and dessert by the camp fire - 'bannock' anyone?
Day 6:
Coastal tour from Peawanuck to Hudson Bay and overnight at Wild Wind tour camp. Trek on the coastal ridges to view endless vistas and go for a two hour boat trip to seek out marine life in the cold waters of Hudson Bay.
Day 7:
North Star Air tour of Polar Bear National Park; unparalleled opportunity to see wildlife of the arctic. Evening river ride on jet boat to Peawanuck.
Day 8:
Return flight to home base in Timmins. You will arrive at Wawaitin Holiday Park mid afternoon. A 'Thanks for Coming' buffet will be served before your departure. WildExodus knows you'll be back!

Package Includes
Equipment appropriate to your holiday package (mobile camp, float plane, train fare, etc.), including all day-tour fees. If rental snowmobile or ATV is required a surcharge will apply.
In house and field guide services as part of all wilderness adventures.
Bring personal camping gear (clothing, sleeping bag, tooth brush), riding gear (appropriate foot, eye and hand protection), licenses, special needs etc., camera and not much more than you can put in a backpack and hike with.
